Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer in The One Direction band. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1, 1994 in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles, a former pupil of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools formed a group called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. Their outstanding performances allowed them to beat in the Battle of Bands 2009. He always had an interest in music but also wanted to pursue a career as the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even scout. As a worker in the city's bakery Harry Styles could afford to provide for his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions to The X Factor. The group was then forced to split up because of this. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were formed in 2010. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which made them one of the leading contenders to win the contest. But they finished 3rd place, in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
