Rod Wave

Rodarius Marcell Green[2] (born on 27 August 1998), known professionally as Rod Wave, is an American rapper and performer. [3][4][5] He is well-known for his powerful voice and the blending of R&B and hip hopand has been recognized as a pioneer in soul-trap.Wave became famous with the 2019 single "Heart on Ice", which went viral through YouTube and TikTok and hit 25 on the Billboard Hot 100. Wave's debut album Ghetto Gospel (2019) peaked at number 10 in the US Billboard 200. The second album, Pray 4 Love (2020) peaked at the top of the Billboard 200 at number 2,[9and ranked at number 9. It was a hit with the track "Rags2Riches" which peaked at 12th on the Hot 100. His third album, SoulFly (2021), debuts at number one on the Billboard 200 (marking his first album to chart tops). Wave's career started in 2016 when he released his mixtape Hunger Games Vol. 1. Wave released many mixtapes before signing with Alamo Records. On the 14th of June in 2019, he debuted his mixtape PTSD that included the song "Heart on Ice". The song went viral across YouTube, TikTok and reached 25th on the Billboard Hot 100. Wave's debut album Ghetto Gospel (November 1, 2019,) came out. It peaked at the number 10 spot on the US Billboard 200. The 3rd of April, 2020, Rod Wave released his second album, "Pray 4 Love". It was released at the 2nd spot in the Billboard 200. A deluxe version was released on August 7. The album was released at 2nd place on the Billboard 200. There was an enhanced edition following on August 7. Wave was part of XXL's 2020 Freshman class on August 11 in 2020. Wave spoke out in July 2020 to reveal that he was making his third album. It was originally planned for August 27 in 2020. 2. On March 6 2021, the singer revealed the album's tracklist for SoulFly. [16][17] The album also includes the songs "Street Runner" and "Tombstone" which is his top-charting single that reached the top 11 on the Hot 100.
