Anita Ekberg

Anita Ekberg is a Swedish actress. The actress was featured in various films, including European and American. She is best known for portraying the character of "La Dolce Via," an action-comedy film. It was a critical as well as commercial success, as being awarded an Oscar during the Cannes Film Festival 1960. Born in Skane, Sweden, she did a stint as a model prior to her acting profession. She won an award in the Miss Sweden competition. Then she moved to the US, and began appearing in films playing small roles.
