Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is a voice actress, director and singer. She's also an actress. As an intelligent and attractive actress, Lucy Liu serves as a role model to many Asian actors who are in Hollywood that want to be successful. Following a string of early appearances in some popular series her fame was boosted when she joined the cast of the legal comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. Her new-found fame was translated into roles for the big screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and several other films. Her next performance was a dazzling performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii in the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading characters in failed box office films like Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films, such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen on Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland is a highly praised crime drama that established Liu's status as a top actress. Liu picks her roles with utmost care in order to ensure she is not typecast in a competitive industry. Although she's embraced her roots she has not let it limit her as an artist.
